TED MINCHIN WORKSHOP hosed by Scituate Arts Association

$225 members/ $250 non-members

Edward Minchin, A.W.S., teaches a positive approach to painting helping students recognize their  unique abilities and strengths for self-expression.  Born and educated in Essex England with a B.A. from St. Martin' Art School, London, he is a signet member of the American Watercolor Society and has signet membership in many other national art societies.
Each day he will do two demonstrations, one a loose realistic painting starting froma thumbnail approach; the second will be a semi-abstract or abstract moving from the use of transparent watercolor into acrylics and other mediums. These simultaneous painted pieces will show strenght in color, shape, design compostion aned experimentation.

Vcevy Strekalovsky Reception at Front Street Gallery

This Friday evening, April 6, 6:00PM to 8:30 The Front Street Gallery will be hosting a opening reception for Artist, Vcevy Strekalovsky.

As part the of the First Friday Celebrations in Scituate harbor, Vcevy will be accompanied by live music from Driftway Jazz. and light refreshments.

Its a great way to meet this outstanding artist, admire Scituate Art Gallery Artist on display and meet and greet new friends.
